Snejana Onopka (WOMEN NY)

Isabel Marant studded boots

For the benefit of those who don't know, within her first year Snejana graced two VOGUE Italia covers both shot by Steven Meisel, a Prada campaign shot by Meisel and a Dolce & Gabbana campaign also shot by Meisel.   The rest is history.

I think her style here is simple, yet effective.

Breaking Down Karl Lagerfeld's Bullish position on Charlotte Di Calypso (1 MODELS New York)

On Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week leaving the Christian Dior show.

The first time I met Charlotte was back in New York Fashion Week while the German National TV news network RTL was following me. From the various outfits I saw Charlotte wear later on up through Paris, I'd definitely put her in the category of one of fashion's best dressed models right alongside Frida Gustavsson, Iekeliene Stange, Dree Hemingway, Sasha Pivovarova, and Chanel Iman. It's as if each time I saw one of these girls, they would be wearing something different, yet well put together.

Apparently this last season Karl Lagerfeld saw something special in her too.

Of the 40 looks that were in the Karl Lagerfeld show, 10 girls walked the runway twice. Charlotte was one and she OPENED Lagerfeld. Talk about first impressions.

Of the 70+ looks that were in Chanel, Charlotte was the 15th girl to walk the barnyard hay runway. However, when Lilly Allen played on stage, two girls danced for the whole song, CENTER STAGE, and got an additional 3 minutes and some 21 seconds of additional "runway exposure time". This is essentially an advertisement in front of the Who's Who of the fashion world and considering that most girls only get seconds of face time, this stage time was a chance for Charlotte to shine.

And right alongside Iekeliene Stange, she let her personality shine while dancing the time away.

You go Charlotte!

Yulia Kharlaponova (WOMEN New York) on Lafayette and Kenmare

Diesel leather side bag

Yulia walked 49 shows from New York, Milan, and Paris over the Spring/Summer 2010 runways which is quite an accomplishment considering she skipped the London shows. Of those 49, she closed 4.

Of the 55 different looks that went down the Jil Sander runway, ONLY 4 girls walked the runway 3 times. One was Yulia and she CLOSED it.

Of the 42 different looks that went down the YSL runway, 42 DIFFERENT girls walked the runway 1 time. Yulia CLOSED that show too.

She's already been on the cover of V's special edition 19 covers. I'm curious and hopeful to see what her future holds for her.

Iselin Steiro (WOMEN New York)

Steven Meisel. Iselin Steiro. Iselin Steiro. Steven Meisel.

The names can appear virtually synonymous with each other given that Meisel has shot Iselin for Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, Mulberry, Missoni, and Valentino -- to name a few.

Here she is as captured on Day 3 of the Spring/Summer 2010 shows in Paris outside of the Isabel Marant venue.

Casting Director: Julia Samersova Adler, a behind the scenes power house

Two years ago designer Brian Reyes hired Casting Director  Julia Samersova Adler to comb through hundreds of models and edit down the choices for his runway show.   Julia chose what was then the unknown face of Jacquelyn Jablonski.  That's before Jacquelyn stunned the modeling world with her stellar Spring/Summer 2010 runway performances.

Clients have invested years now calling upon that same eye that picked Jacquelyn two years ago to stack one successful cast upon another.  The list is expanding and reads like a Who's Who of clients from the modeling world: the DKNY show, the Sass and Bide show, VOGUE Italia, VOGUE Germany, J. Crew, Neiman Marcus, Patrick Demarchelier, and Mario Sorrenti.  Put it to you this way, the demand for her services and the access to the best models from the best agencies she brings to the table on a global level is NOT shrinking.

The best part about Julia is that she treats each one of her models with a Tender Loving Care (TLC) that hopefully you can relate to in the above photo with her husband Andrew and new baby daughter, Violet.  She runs the internet's first street style site soley dedicated to kids street style:   Planet Awesome Kid a goal of which is to create resources for kids charities.

Go check out Planet Awesome Kid for your daily dose of cuteness (updated like 4 times a day).
