Damn, girl's got some skinny legs! She's cute...

It's disturbing that you all focus on what she is wearing, when it's plain as day she has a serious eating disorder. She needs help, not comments about how great she looks-encouraging her to stay at a such a dangerous weight. I understand that this is a fashion website, but I hope you all agree that someone's well being is much more important than what they're wearing.

  11. naboonies says:

some people has body build like this. sometimes it doesn't matter how much you skip on meals you just can't achieve this look. so, who are these ppl to say she's anorexic?

  12. I have to admit the first thing I saw was this girl's legs. Aesthetically it's very nice but hopefully her health is not being neglected.

  13. Anonymous says:

oh how i wish i was as skinny as her... *sigh*

  14. her legs are too skinny, but the outfit sure lookes great !!

  15. I love the boots, and that scarf is wonderful.

  16. Oh and while she does have thin legs, I feel it is quite insensitive and rude to tar her with having an eating disorder. I wonder whether people would be equally comfortable commenting that an overweight person should eat less with such vigour.

  17. Sascha says:

    Whoa! Lots of heated comments!
I like her outfit, very neo grunge meets biker chick in the city. I'm going to tip toe away now......

  18. Min says:

even though she is indisputably skinny, isn't it rude to assume that she must have an eating disorder?

  19. Emery says:

Wonder how many "too skinny" comments come from overweight people?

anyone know the brand on her parka? Nice outfit! And yes she is skinny, but still very beautiful!

  23. Aodhan says:

This young lady may or may not be unnaturally thin naturally, but it really is hard to look t her without thinking of hospitals rather than glamour or style.

  24. Personally, I think this whole anorexia issue has been blown out of proportion. Some people are genetically overweight despite not eating much food and some people are genetically skinny despite eating a lot of food.

There is no official evidence that Dree has been professionally diagnosed with anorexia. No one has provided verifiable documentation substantiating any claim to her genetic, neurobiological, nutritional, psychological, or sociological conditions that prove her alleged anorexic condition.

Being slim may be a common symptom of anorexia, but in it of itself as provided from a picture, slimness is not sufficient to prove that she is anorexic.

    Just my two cents.

  25. Anonymous says:

It appears I cannot comment on the weight issue that's going on here...Cute clothes though, but just plain ugly on her...No hard feelings WSE!

  26. Anonymous says:

& Sure this site is all about style and what not...but clothes make the person...

  27. OMG - I was that skinny @ her age. Matter o fact, I was all joints, lanky n lithesome, trying to find clothes in the girls section. Almost 10+ yrs later and I've filled out to a nice rounded size. (still in the singles digits thank you very much) It's just a stage in life I think. It's not always a health issue. I know if people constantly commented on my weight (which they did), I would tell em to go somewhere.

  28. Love it!! I really like her Helmut Land pants.

  32. Kat Walks says:

i was disturbed by this photo, too. i hope she pulls it together.

  33. Anonymous says:

while she may not have an eating disorder as such, theres no denying that being that thin is not healthy and so unchic, i think its so sad people here aspire to be that thin.

  34. Anonymous says:

I totally agree with the comment made above. It is truly a sad thing. And this comes from a very skinny girl, btw...(but not THAT skinny)

  35. Love all those rocker girls with leather pants on their skinny legs and big boots. mmmmmmmmm

  36. Maryda says:

    what boots are those????

That's some nice thinspiration for the day!

If you've seen other pictures of dree you know she's not rail thin. That pic isn't a good representation.

  39. Love the style and the boots!!!!

  40. Anonymous says:

    too skinny...

  41. Anonymous says:

I am 5'9, 115 lbs, and 34 years old. We all look like this in my family. To call someone out on a eating disorder when you don't even know them is wrong and hurtful. If this girl had thick legs would you all be talking about the dangers of obesity? Probably not because it's not as acceptable. I now like my body and I'm glad I can eat what I want, but when I was the same height and 100 lbs in my teens, it was all of the cruel comment like the ones here that made me hide my legs and wear tights under my jeans to look bigger. Not fun when your from Hawaii.

  42. she is gorgeous. and not anorexic

  43. Anonymous says:

her legs do look sickly thin. If she has an illness or not posting her picture does lead people to associate her stick thin figure with a positive/stylish/hip image to follow...

  44. ZuKi says:

good outfit, beautiful girl, but I'm shocked with her legs-they are so thin!!!!:0

  45. Anonymous says:

I too like those legging-type pants;)! and also the jacket, but to comment on her legs and also her health, I think she must have lost weight to be a model, although I do not know if she has an eating disorder, if you look on "" she has always been thin, but over the past couple of years she lost weight(i.e.most models have to be ultra-skinny to succeed in modeling industry.)

  46. Anonymous says:

Great look but yeah, too skinny. Not accusing her of having an eating disorder, but I don't think this is the most responsible photo to put up on a site that young girls check for advice on how to look...

  47. Anonymous says:

I saw her in the film "the truth about angels". She's the real angel in the movie. Really lovely. Davide Sordella.

  48. emily says:

love this blog. i've recently become obsessed with dree...she's insane. love this pic. i just posted her interview magazine shoot

  49. Arielle says:

Love her outfit, but i can't get over how disturbingly skinny her legs are, not healthy or attractive

  50. Mariana says:

She would be sooooo more beautiful if she wasn't that skinny. It's not even attractive that way!

  51. Anonymous says:

When leggings are baggy, there's a problem...

  52. Anonymous says:

I saw her a few months ago in the Jalouse magazine and she didn't look THAT skinny, she looked very beautiful and healthy. I must admit the first thing I thought when I saw her on the last issue of Teen Vogue was she's too skinny! and even her face looks too bony and pale. I don't mean to offend people who are naturally skinny (such as me), but I'm pretty sure this isn't's such a shame because she really is beautiful, and I love her style, but I think we shouldn't overlook this, i just find it horrible to ignore her and the pain she must be going through
